How is hourly moving time calculated?
Your official job time starts the moment our van arrives at your pickup location and stops only when everything is completely unloaded at your final destination. This covers loading, transit/driving, and complete unloading.
Are protective blankets and shrink wrap included in the price?
Yes, absolutely! Every move includes the use of our heavy-duty protective transit blankets and pallet shrink wrap at no extra cost to keep your furniture safe and clean during transit.
Do you provide packing materials like cardboard boxes and tape?
Standard moves do not include boxes by default. However, if you request a quote that includes full packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape), our team will bring company-supplied materials on moving day. If extra packing materials are requested on the day beyond your initial agreement, additional charges will apply.

What size removal vans do you use?
Our main vehicle is a spacious 3.5-Ton Luton Van equipped with an electric tail lift, ideal for full home and office removals. We also operate Long Wheel Base (LWB) vans, with identical hourly rates regardless of which van type is dispatched.
How much do you charge for local man and van moves?
Our local hourly rates are:
- 1 Mover + Van: £60 per hour (Minimum booking: 2 hours)
- 2 Movers + Van: £80 per hour (Minimum booking: 2 hours)
How much does it cost to move a single item?
For local moves within Birmingham and surrounding West Midlands areas:
- Standard Single Item: Starts at £80
- Heavy-Duty Single Item: Starts at £90
- Stairs Charge: Extra £20 if items must be carried up or down flights of stairs
How are long-distance moves calculated?
Full house long-distance moves are calculated at £90 per hour (covering pickup loading, driving duration, and unloading). For single items traveling long distances, we offer combined load options to help reduce your cost—contact us directly so we can find the best pricing option for you.
Are my items insured during transit?
